Newark Liberty Airport Transportation –

There is a monorail system, the Airtrain Newark, that connects the main hubs of public transport with the terminals at the airport.  AirTrain Newark connects the terminals with the Rail Link station (Newark Liberty International Airport Station) where Amtrak and NJ transit train services (on the Northeast Corridor and North Jersey Coast lines) are available.
This station is unique in that it is accessible only by train – there are no buses, no parking or no subway system available here. It is only five minutes from the Newark Penn Station which has bus and cab services, the PATH (NJ subway which connects NJ to NY), Amtrak etc.
For example, to travel from New York Penn Station to Newark Airport one can take the subway/NJ Transit to Newark Penn station and thereon to Rail Link Station from where the AirTrain can take the passengers to the terminals.
